Sarah Richardson -- A Holiday Farmhouse

Sarah Richardson is one of my favorite designers.  Her work is fresh, down to earth, and makes you want to grab a cup of coffee and a good book and dive into one of her rooms.  The farmhouse that was recently featured on Sarah's House season 3 is featured in HOUSE & HOME (Nov 2010) .  Sarah and her family decided to keep the farmhouse and use it for weekends and holidays.  Take a peek into the beautifully decorated farmhouse .  The sweet little face peeking around the corner on the cover of the magazine is her daughter Robin.

This is a 50 acre farm that was falling down when Sarah decided to add her touch.

Sarah and her family in the new entrance to the farmhouse.  This was an old family room that was completely gutted to create a beautiful mudroom / entrance.

The tall Christmas tree sits between the family room and dining room.

The master guest suite is warm inviting and full of beautiful antiques.  A beautiful collection of items that make a house a home and tell the story of the family that lives there.

If you would like to see the rest of the photos from this season of Sarah's House check out her website at
